This salt is an intense and rugged salt that instantly makes you feel like you are around a campfire. Our Extra Bold Smoked salt is naturally smoked for two weeks, with a blend of seven carefully selected woods, to create a really hearty smokehouse flavour. It is rich. It is enticing. It is goooooood.
Experiment... its flakey texture makes it perfect for finishing, but it will also dissolve quickly and evenly in marinades, sauces, stews, chilli and soups. Try it on pork, chicken, tuna, salmon or steak - anywhere you want to have a 'just grilled' flavour.

Ingredients... smoked sea salt. No anti-caking, free flowing additives, conditioners, allergens, genetically modified organisms.
So what does it contain? Sodium Chloride (99.1%), Calcium (0.091%), Magnesium (0.046%), Sulphur (0.045%), Potassium (0.021%), Iodine (0.003%) and moisture (0.5%).
Storage conditions... store in a cool, dry place. Some salts may retain moisture and become clumpy over time - this is normal as our salts are 100% natural and does not affect the quality of the salt.
This is my favourite of the salts we have tried to date. Nice blend and not quite as strong flavoured as the individual smoked salts. Worth the little extra
I opted to pay $20 more than other smoky salts to get the Extra Bold flavour, but found it to be a standard smoky strength. Poor value at $29.95 for 160gsm compared to the other smokies. I will try the other smoky options at $9.95.
