Order Handling and Tracking.
You can check on your order status through My Account. When your order has been dispatched for delivery we will send you a confirmation email. This email includes the freight providers name and your order tracking number.
Once your order is collected by Australia Post, or the courier, we have no control over it. Any enquiries about your delivery need to be directed to the courier.
Each order may be sent to only one delivery address. Please ensure the address is correct.
Please note, if you would like your order delivered to a PO Box please select Australia Post as your freight provider. If you do not choose Australia Post, additional freight costs may be payable and your order may be delayed.
We ship every business day. Orders placed by 10am any business day will be shipped the same day, and orders after 10am will be shipped the next business day. We ship via Australia Post, Fastway and Toll IPEC.
Freight is calculated based on the cubic weight of the products being ordered and the distance between us and you. Orders in excess of 20kg in weight will be shipped via courier and a street address is required.
Freight is calculated after a delivery postcode or delivery address has been entered. You may be able to estimate the freight prior to checking out by selecting a 'Post Code' when viewing your order in the shopping cart.
All orders are shipped with "Authority to Leave" at your address.
*Free shipping only applies to retail orders and in most metropolitan and regional locations around Australia. Due to the high shipping costs of salt, free shipping will not apply to all areas and a shipping quote will be provided on our website. The areas excluded are:
Townsville, Cairns, York Penninsula, Central Queensland, North Coast Queensland, Western Queensland
South East South Australia, North West South Australia and Mount Gambier
Broome, Southern Western Australia, Central Western Australia, Northern Western Australia
All of the Northern Territory
All of Tasmania
We ship to most countries around the world from Australia. We use a range if international couriers.
When you enter your address at checkout the shipping price will be shown. International orders from The Salt Box are charged in Australian dollars. The exchange rate is determined by International credit cards or banks who may add their own fees.
Custom fees and taxes on orders may be charged by the destination company. These charges must be paid by the person receiving the parcel. The Salt Box has no control over customs policies and charges, which can vary from country to country.
If delivery is refused, all costs incurred for the return of goods will be charged to the customer. Please list any specific instructions for delivery when placing your order.
Our website has been carefully designed to provide you with as much information as possible on all our products to help you make the right selection. Please use this information and select carefully.
If a product received by a customer is faulty or has been damaged in shipment, it will be at the discretion of The Salt Box to authorise a replacement product or a refund. The decision will be made within 48 hours of being made aware of the issue.
To return an item, The Salt Box will request a Return Goods Authorisation number. Replacement product will be shipped via standard shipping within 48 hours. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours.
