We're working hard to get your goods delivered as soon as possible. Unfortunately, our shipping partners are experiencing extremely high demand at the moment. You can track your order using the Con Note number we email to you, when your goods are shipped.
Please note that we do not offer refunds if our shipping partners cause delivery delays. Where a shipment is deemed lost by the shipping company, we will make a claim and refund you or re-supply the product.
We do our very best to send your orders out on the same day, however this may not always be possible. Unfortunately we have experienced delays due to COVID, so please allow additional time for deliveries. We cannot be responsible for delays by our delivery partners.
Orders placed by 10am any business day will be shipped the same day, and orders after 10am will be shipped the next business day. Depending on your location, delivery is approx. 2-14 business days.
Shipping prices for Australian customers are detailed in the table above. If you order is over 22kg it will be calculated at checkout. FREE shipping is available on orders for order weights less than 22kgs, delivered to major metro centres, that meet minimum order values in the table above.

Delivery prices are based on weight and location.
Exact rates for your purchase are calculated on the checkout page. Orders with a weight over 25kg will be calculated at checkout. For orders over 200kg please contact us directly for a quote.
Ordering a 25kg bag? We cannot accept PO Box or Parcel Locker addresses as we will not be able to deliver it. Australia Post has a maximum weight limit of each package of 22kg. If this occurs we may request additional shipping fees to retrieve your order and resend it via a courier.
Salt is heavy
Salt is heavy and can be expensive to ship around the country or around the world. We subsidise our freight costs in most locations and and do not mark up our freight costs in other areas. We do our best to negotiate low freight rates. We use a combination of carriers including Australia Post, Couriers Please, Fastway/Aramex and TNT. We choose these carriers to obtain the lowest price for your shipment to your location.
Where Express Post is applicable (heavy orders can not be sent via Australia Post) we will ship via Express Post. Please note, Australia Post has suspended their Next Day Guarantee temporarily. To read more click here.
Track your order status through My Account.
When your order has been dispatched for delivery you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. All orders are shipped with "Authority to Leave" at your address. You will have received an email when your parcel is on the way. The email contains a tracking number so you can check the progress of your delivery. We have engaged a professional freight group who have a help desk to assist you with deliveries. There is a 'Help" button in the email to give you access to their service which is a free service for you.
At this time we offer shipping to China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and the USA up to 3kg. If your country is not listed here, feel free to get in touch with us and we will try to accommodate you as best we can.
Our website has been carefully designed to provide you with as much information as possible on all our products to help you make the right selection. Please use this information and select carefully.
Faulty or damaged product? If you've received a faulty product or if it has been damaged in shipment, please contact us via email. It will be at the discretion of The Salt Box to authorise a replacement product or a refund. Replacement product will be shipped via standard shipping within 48 hours. Refunds will be processed within 48 hours.
Change of mind? To return an item if you change your mind, please contact The Salt Box to make arrangements prior to dispatching the item. Refunds will be provided when the product is returned and deemed in re-saleable condition.
The Salt Box accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit on return to us.
Please understand, we do not offer refunds for any coupon codes that are not working or valid with The Salt Box. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the relevant coupon code ready at the time of purchase. If a code does not work correctly do not proceed with sale.
