How could we not include this incredible native food created from the leaf of Tasmanian lanceolate bush that have been dried and finely ground. It has a fresh aroma reminisant of the Australian bush and has a spicy flavour yet more subtle than the Pepperberry. Pepperleaf is often used instead of black pepper and are high in antioxidants as and contains Vitamin E, lutein, zinc, magnesium and calcium.
It was commonly used by indigenous Australians to enhance flavours and made into a paste to treat oral infections like sore gums and tooth aches. It is renowned for its unique flavour and its exceptional health benefits.
