Why not try experimenting and making your own bath salts? Combining Epsom Salt and Pink Himalayan Salt creates a bath soak with the benefits of magnesium sulfate (from the Epsom Salt) plus the 84 trace minerals found in Himalayan Salt. If you’d really like to treat yourself, you can also add the wellness benefits of Essential Oils.
- 1 ½ cups natural Epsom Salt
- 1/2 cup Pink Himalayan Salt (fine)
- 10–15 drops essential oils (optional)
Add all the ingredients to a warm (not hot) bath, and soak for 20-40 mins. Ensure that you hydrate well before and after the bath.
Some suggestions for essential oils:
- Lavender for Relaxation & Sleep
- Peppermint for Sore & Tired Muscles
- Citrus for an Energy Boost
