How to use Zechstein magnesium spray
Zechstein Magnesium Oil is applied directly to the skin for optimal absorption. Transdermal application allows magnesium to be rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream and delivered directly to the cells and tissues that need it. As a result, the dosage can be regulated as required.
Start with 5 to 10 spray actions per application, morning and night, or as needed. We recommend beginning by applying it to the soles of your feet for the first few weeks until your skin becomes accustomed to it.
If you’re using magnesium oil for the first time, a slight tingling or warming sensation may initially be felt at the place of application. This is normal and a sign that the magnesium is working and being absorbed.People with sensitive skin may experience a slight unpleasant sensation on the skin. In this case, we recommend applying to the soles of your feet until the skin gets used to it (maybe a week or two).
Where an unpleasant sensation is experienced after the magnesium oil has dried on the skin, it can simply be rinsed off with water. Just be sure to leave it on for at least 5 to 10 minutes to allow absorption.
Avoid contact with eyes, freshly shaved areas, broken skin, or open wounds, as this may cause stinging.
Daily application
For a daily dose of magnesium, spray Zechstein Magnesium Oil directly onto the skin and massage in lightly. It has been shown that the soles of the feet, arms and shoulder areas are best suited for daily use. However, the oil can also be applied to the thighs, calves and stomach, or any sore areas.
Use for cramps
This often provides relief within seconds. For ongoing support, apply magnesium oil nightly to help prevent cramps from occurring.
Use for muscle recovery
Many athletes find that massaging magnesium oil directly onto muscles before, during, or after exercise helps reduce fatigue and supports faster recovery. Spray 5–10 times onto the affected muscle areas and massage in gently.
Use for improved sleep
Used before bed, magnesium oil will help you to reset and relax before you drift off to sleep. Simply spritz 5-10 sprays (or until the area is covered well) onto your stomach and feet, rub in and allow to dry prior to covering up with clothing.
Restless Legs
If you experience restless leg syndrome, before bed spray 5-10 spritzes of magnesium oil on the soles of your feet and legs and massage in. Allow to dry prior to covering up with clothing.
Kids
Zechstein magnesium is safe to use on children. Begin with a 50:50 mix of magnesium oil and water, applied to the soles of the feet.
For growing pains, spray the watered-down mixture on the sore areas and rub in.
Pregnancy
Zechstein magnesium is completely natural and safe to use throughout pregnancy and after birth. It may help ease muscle soreness and support better sleep. However, we recommend consulting your GP or healthcare provider before use to ensure it’s right for you.
Apply magnesium oil to areas of the body where you feel it is needed and gently rub in. Perfect for use on shoulders, lower back, calves, feet and stomach. As always, start by using on the soles of your feet for the first few weeks until you get used to it.
