Salted Caramel Espresso Martini

Ingredients and Method

Known in Australia as ‘The Espresso Martini’, this drink was created in the 1980’s by the late Dick Bradsell after an American Supermodel walked up to the bar and asked for a drink that would ‘wake me up’.


Cocktail glass or coupette


• 20ml West Winds Sabre gin
• 20ml Mr Black Espresso liqueur 
• 30ml espresso
• A pinch of The Salt Box Salt No 7
• 10ml caramel syrup
• Coffee beans for garnish


• Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake
• Double strain into glass
• Garnish with three coffee beans
