Applewood smoked salt has a softly, sweet smoked salt perfect for white fish or to dress up roasted vegetables.

Introducing... our Smoked Applewood salt. Subtle is probably not the best word for our Smoky Sister range but, if it were, Applewood is the most subtle of them. Made from sweet apple wood this naturally cold smoked sea salt has a scrumptious sweet, fruity, woody flavour. And its form is pretty sweet too - it is a lovely flake which makes sure it makes its presence known.

Experiment... this salt is perfect with fish, shellfish, poultry and roast veggies. And for those who don't do posh (or even for those that do) sprinkle it over your next cheese toastie. You won't look back.

Storage conditions... store in a cool, dry place. Some salts may retain moisture and become clumpy over time - this is normal as our salts are 100% natural and does not affect the quality of the salt.

Ingredients... smoked sea salt. No anti-caking, free flowing additives, conditioners, allergens, genetically modified organisms.

Product of...USA.

Inhaling the delicious aroma of this salt is like standing next to an open fire and inhaling the smoke. Lovely! I particularly like it on eggs. Also can't wait to try the associated pulled pork recipe!

An absolutely beautiful salt for steaks, but equally suitable for fish and delicious lightly sprinkled over prawns.

I am interested in using unusual salts for dessert and confectioneries and this produced an amazing Salted Caramel! Also works brilliantly sprinkled over Witlof prior to grilling. Very nice indeed :)

Love, love, love this salt especially rubbed onto a steak. It gives food that BBQ taste without having to get out there when the weathers too wet.

Great with all types of seafood

I love to add this salt to all types of fish from Salmon to Halibut and even Blue Eye Trevella. I recently used some in a New England Clam Chowder recipe and thought it a wonderful addition. The flavour is beautiful and not too over-powering - a must have in your cupboard if you are a seafood lover!
