White Truffle Salt adds a layer of elegance to any dish. Paired with scallops is really rather delicious and gives the scallops an earthy, velvety taste.
Scallops, when cooked properly, are very easy to make. The trick is not over (or under) cook them. Make sure you pat them dry before cooking to get rid of any excess moisture. We then cover then in our White Truffle Salt on both sides. Heat your pan of choice to a high heat and add butter (or olive oil). When it is hot, sear the scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side. Serve immediately - they don't appreciate hanging around.
Eat them just as they are, or if you are feeling really posh, serve with a beurre blanc and asparagus.
